Our available size varies from 1 kilogram to 50 kilograms in well-branded bags. With our strengths of owning a large rice mills in a strategic location, we can control the rice quality from the field to the production process. PRODUCT CAPACITY

In the course of Agrotek’s production process, milled rice is cleaned to move extraneous material like dust, gravel, sand, and even immature rice grains that do not meet the specifications. It is then transferred to a temperature-controlled silo (Soaking Tanks) and then it’s cooked and dried to the required moisture content. The rice is then milled, polished and conveyed on to equipment that removes broken grains and separates the grains according to size and using laser apparatus color.

The next step is to transfer graded rice to the machinery that gives it a final check for cleanness and purity (Color Sorter), after which it is sent on to a silo where it will await packaging by automatic equipment.

Since every stage of the production is carefully controlled by computer, and no human hands come into contact with the rice at any point, the consumer feel confident that it is completely sanitary and healthful.

Agrotek White Rice

Agrotek White Rice is one of the most popular rice in Nigeria, it is fully milled rice and polished rice because during milling process, husky and bran are removed from the kernel.

Agrotek Parboiled Rice

Agrotek Parboiled rice is rice that has been boiled in the husk. It is processed using special technique of soaking paddy in hot water before it will undergo pressure steaming and drying. These processes help retaining most of the essential nutrients in kernels. Furthermore, paddy will be sent for milling. Parboiled rice is usually slightly yellowish although the color largely fades after cooking. Parboiled rice takes less time to cook and the cooked rice is puffier and less sticky. We offer our white rice in various grades.

Agrotek Brown Rice

Brown Rice. This rice is full of highly nutrients as bran layer is unpolished and nutrition remains on its bran. It contains high fiber, vitamin B, carbohydrate and protein.

Broken Rice

Broken rice is a grade of rice consisting of grains broken in the milling process. It is suitable for many kinds of cooking or food processing and benefits are the same as the whole rice grain. Broken rice can also be used to feed livestocks.

Rice Flour

Rice flour (also rice powder) is a form of flour made from finely milled rice. It is distinct from rice starch. Rice flour is made from ground raw rice and is used to make rice noodles and some pancakes. It can be used to thicken soups and stews, as well as providing an alternative to wheat flour in cakes and biscuits. However, it’s gluten-free so can’t be used to make yeasted loaves of bread.
